Important Notice – Disruption of Water Supply – Friday 29th March 2013

Dublin City Council advises that due to damage caused by a third party there is a break on a large distribution main. As a result there may be disruption to water supply resulting in a reduction in service with reduced pressures and no water in some areas today, Friday 29th March 2013.

The areas likely to be affected are:

  • The Malahide Road from Ardlea roundabout to Donnycarney church, including parts of Killester and Donnycarney
  • Tonglegee road , Coolock Village, Harmonstown and Edenmore
  • and all surrounding areas.

Repair works have commenced and efforts such as redistributing water are being made to minimise disruption as far as is possible.

Locations of Water Tanker

A water tanker will be located at Donnycarney church at the junction of the Malahide Road and Collins Ave East. The water tanker may need to leave this location for a short period to refill.

Dublin City Council apologises for any inconvenience caused. With your co-operation and understanding we hope to keep the disruption to a minimum.
